This is my first review and I'm doing it simply because he was so great. If you study, you'll pass. Great class by a teacher who actually cares about helping you succeed. I hope to have him again at some point.
Very nice guy. Unfortunately, only a very gifted instructor could teach a world history survey class that covers 1,500 years and make it cohesive and interesting. We watched YouTube movies and he summed up the book. I could do that for free on my own. His lectures are oversimplified and scattered. But again, good guy. Easy grader.
He will post all study guides online, and they're the exact questions on the exams! (however, you need to study) He understands that not everyone loves history and wants to take the class because it's interesting. He's really laid back and loves St. Louis and football. He grades pretty easy and he's cute too! I liked the class & him as an instructor.
DO NOT TAKE HIM!! He only has points that are based on 2 exams and he rambles on and on losing you along the way. His favorite word is again. He is very disorganized. His office hours are not helpful at all and he won't make an appointment as needed. His tests are too hard. I say do not take him!
Class is really easy and he is very nice. Tests are essays and IDs but he gives you exactly what will be on the test with enough time to memorize the facts.
Gives exactly what's going to be on the test. Great guy and will help if you ask. Easiest history class I have ever taken and I'm horrible at history.
He certainly loves history, if you don't you will be lost. Gives you exactly what will be on the test, but you have to memorize a TON of details, and you have to find them in the book (which is not used during class time at all so all studying has to be done separately from class). There is a 3-5 page paper. FOR THE TESTS YOU ACTUALLY HAVE TO STUDY! |
